HOW TO WRAP

All Tascot Tie products are meant to be worn with your shirt's top button undone, both for comfort and sex appeal. (If you are more comfortable buttoning up, go ahead, they will still look good.)

TASCOT AND SOFT TASCOT WRAPPING
Some tying options (click here for diagrams showing how to make various tie knots):

  • Tie the tascot in a standard knot (four-in-hand, half-Windsor, etc.), making it as loose and bulky as you wish (or as tight and sleek as you wish). We like the front and back ends to have the same length for a forked "swallowtail" effect at your belt. But if you're tall or just prefer a more conventional look, then let the front end hide the shorter back end.
  • Tie it as an ascot and tuck the ends in your shirt.
  • Drape or wrap it around your neck like a scarf.
  • Tie it in a funky bow.
  • For wrapping, the key thing to remember is Make Your Knot Your Own™. There is no wrong way to wear a tascot tie. Let your personality and mood guide you.

    NECKER WRAPPING
The necker is meant to be worn inside the shirt collar, like a neckerchief. Men simply double-knot it or drape it inside (or outside) the collar however they wish. The necker's slinky silk is an elegant step up from a rolled bandanna.

Tip: To tie a knot where the ends of the necker hang symmetrically rather than askew, tie the necker as a bow tie, and then pull through the bow parts. Click here for diagrams showing how to make a bow tie knot. Making a bow tie knot is almost the same as tying a shoelace, so don't be intimidated.

    SLASH TIE WRAPPING
Tie the Knot...or Twist It™. Wear the slash tie three different ways:

  • Join it together using the velcro twist, by bending the twist around both strips of the tie.
  • Tie it in a regular fat knot.
  • Tie it as an ascot (tuck it in your shirt or keep it out).

  • CHOOSING THE RIGHT SIZE
